About Amigo Foods
Amigo Foods can be traced back to Havana, Cuba, around 1912. It all started with the founder’s great-grandfather, Amador Garcia, who emigrated from Spain to Havana to start a food distribution company. After several years of hard work, he decided to need some help. He invited the founder’s grandfather, Jesus Garcia Sr., to join him. Although only fourteen years old, Jesus accepted this proposal and helped his uncle develop his business into one of the largest food merchants on the island in a short period of time. Today, the fourth generation of Garcia is proud to continue to engage in Latin food distribution. Amigo Foods is a modern version of J. Garcia & Company, based in Miami. It will work hard with 21st century technology and excellent old fashion, and it will provide you with fast, courteous and efficient Latin cuisine service. Its goal is to be the only source of all your Latin food needs. It looks forward to serving you.
