Tallahassee Museum is listed as one of the top museums in Florida, and its live Florida wildlife exhibits, nature trails and local gardens are popular with visitors of all ages. It encourages visitors to discover and understand the natural environment, rich history and diverse cultural communities of North Florida. From magical local animals and rare historic buildings to beautiful natural scenery to exciting public projects, special events and educational programs, it makes sense for everyone. In 2013, it added digital access to its collection through its website. A new interpretive program, adopted in 2012 and launched in 2013, will guide museums to stay in touch with a growing community.
