  • What do the different statuses mean?

    • When you click through from HotDeals and make your transaction on a retailers site we support,your action is tracked by the retailer and reported back to us (along with your uniquely identifiable code – letting us report your transaction to you).
    • When the transaction is first reported, it will be given a Pending status. This means that the retailer has tracked your transaction and indicated the cash back to be awarded. We haven’t yet, however, confirmed that all criteria has been met or that we will actually send the cash back.
    • Non-Travel(booking, hotels, etc) orders remain pending for 60 days while the merchant confirms your purchases and verifies that items from your order haven't been returned or refunded, and the pending period for Travel(booking, hotels, etc) orders is 90 days.
    • After a certain number of days(the pending period), your transaction will normally switch to Confirmed status. This means that we have pretty much agreed that all is fine with your transaction.
    • Once we are informed that items from your order have been returned or refunded, or the commission we got from the affiliate network is reserved due to some policies, the HotDeals Gold will switch to Cancelled status.
    • Any misconduct in contravention of HotDeals's Policies can result in rejection of your HotDeals Gold.
    • HotDeals Gold will remain as Locked after you submit a withdrawal application.
    • The status of HotDeals Gold appears as Paid when HotDeals completes the transfer.
    • 12 months after registration, if there are remaining HotDeals Gold in the account that have not been redeemed, these will expire.

    How is the withdraw-able balance calculated?

    Your withdraw-able balance is calculated automatically from your confirmed HotDeals Gold including task Gold and order Gold, and taking order Gold as the conversion standard with the ratio 1:1.

    If your Gold does not appear on your account or in the pending status, consider the following answers:

    When did you make your purchase?

    HotDeals Gold transactions take about 1-15 days to appear in your account. So don't worry, it could still be processing behind the scenes! If you don't see your transaction in your account after 15 days, reach out to us at your earliest convenience.

    Did you make a purchase from a shopping site that offers the rewards?

    HotDeals Gold program isn't available at every shopping site, but we'll let you know if a site offers HotDeals Gold.

    Did you buy an item that does not offer the reward?

    Exclusions are up to the sole discretion of the merchant. An item you purchased was not eligible for the offer.

    Did you log in your Hotdeals account?

    You have not logged in the account. The account login is to track your order.

  • Why is my HotDeals Gold pending?

    Transactions remain pending for 60 days while the merchant confirms your purchase and verifies that items from your order haven't been returned or refunded. If you do return part of your purchase, the amount of HotDeals Gold you earn will adjust accordingly.

    If you make a reservation on a travel site, you cannot receive gold until your reservation is completed. These pending periods are determined by the merchant. Once we receive confirmation that you'll earn HotDeals Gold for the purchase (after the return window has ended or in the case of a travel reservation, when the stay is completed) our system automatically posts Gold to your account.

    If none of these questions apply to your purchase, send us your receipt (as a screenshot or forward along the confirmation email) with the date of purchase, total price paid, and order number and we'll look into it for you!

  • How do I delete my HotDeals account?

    If you’re ready to leave the Hive, you can delete your account by following these two steps.

    1. Visit your Account Settings page and click the Delete account link at the bottom of the page.

    2. Enter in the unique code shown below to confirm your account deletion. After you click Delete Forever, your account will be completely removed from our system and we will no longer have any personal information about you in our system.
