I purchased a final sale item that got lost in transit and took multiple weeks to arrive. By the time I received my order, I no longer wanted or needed the item. After being subjected to literally 3+ hours of screeching hold music and being disconnected multiple times, I was told I would not be authorized to return the extremely late item. Not one representative I spoke with took into consideration my disability when speaking with me, making it extremely difficult for me to understand them, and when I repeatedly asked them to speak slowly and clearly they were extremely rude. There is no room in the market for a company this awful. I’ve now filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
What a farce this company are. I returned an item from the UK via DHL (which I had do at my own arrangement). DHL have lost the parcel and so all I needed was an email from Saks to say that no return had been received and therefore no refund had been made. Three emails asking for this were ignored so tonight I phoned up. One and quarter hours later, no further forward and so I was holding for a supervisor and then I was just cut off! I shall never purchase from them again.
Beware, defective products can be shipped when ordered online. Saks avoids taking responsibility for this and does not accept return or issue refund for the defective product. When the issue is raised, they tell the customer to file a dispute with their credit card company. This is completely unprofessional and irresponsible. They partner with CDL deliveries for their logistics and they are all together in stealing peoples packages. Please don’t buy at Saks and share with with your families and friend. I have been waiting for a RMA so I can return a product.. It’s been 2 weeks and haven’t received anything.. I have tried multiple times to call and email- all I’m getting is a generic response that I will be be contacted within 24- 48 hrs.. PATHETIC! 2 weeks and I can’t get a response..
I did not receive my full order. I ordered two three month supplies of the LYMA supplement, but only received two ONE MONTH supply. I have contacted customer service multiple times (5) but they keep stating they cannot issue a refund. I DO NOT WANT A REFUND, I WANT THE ACTUAL PRODUCT that was listed on the site. This is beyond absurd for being charged for a full three month supply, and only given one month. I am extremely upset about this and will never order from Saks Fifth Avenue again, I will also file multiple complaints and reviews about this.
If I could give Saks a zero, I would. Four days ago I placed an order and paid extra for 1-2 day delivery. I have received nothing from Saks; and my calls to the customer service line have resulted in “wait 5 more days.” Why, then, offer 1-2 day shipping? What a sham.
I purchased an item on sale, but the discount code on the site would not work. I contacted customer service, who said they would honor the sale price once it shipped through a price adjustment. It was a significant discount on the item, at 70%. The customer service agent seemed sketchy. Once I got off the phone, the next day, instead of shipping my order, they cancelled by order stating that the item was not available. A lie! Shortly after, I received a notification that an item I was looking at became available, which was the Burberry blazer! I repurchased the item and once shipped, I submitted for a price adjustment with my proof of the sales price on their website. Again, they refused to honor the price!
To be fair, and give an update, I did receive the price adjustments for all 3 items today, including the merchandise I never received. I will be calling again tomorrow regarding the refund for the undelivered package. Saks should be submitting a claim to Maergo for the undelivered package. Maergo will not even respond to my inquiries.

Never ordering from Saks Fifth Avenue again. They have horrible customer service and rude customer service reps. I would expect way more from a luxury department store. They also refused to provide me with a price adjustment after a customer service rep already approved it, then citing they don't make international price adjustments. It's pretty clear they don't care about their customers.

Warehouse sends the wrong item (purchased a $600 Valentino belt) and refused to accept the return after numerous emails including pictures day of receipt, phone calls, emails, chats and promises from reps. This is my second time ordering from Saks. I was really worried after reading all the negative reviews but everything ended up going very smoothly! My order arrived in perfect condition and beautifully wrapped. The only thing I will say is that if you are shipping internationally, be aware that you will likely wait at least 2 weeks for your package (minimum). I really wish that Saks didn’t ship with Borderfree because they are insanely expensive and VERY slow to ship.. but if there is something you really want, it might be worth it.
I've heard so many bad things about Saks but a friend told me he had a good experience ordering some custom suits from them so I ordered a custom windowpane blue suit that I liked from them and it got delivered a day ago. It's a great fit everywhere except the blazer is just a little loose around the shoulders. Fairly satisfied with my purchase.

So many people have posted negative reviews. In the last 2 months I have ordered multiple things for my children or myself from Saks. Have returned a lot of it as it seems a lot of things seem to be cheap quality. But I have also been pleased with several things. I have had EXCELLENT service with my returns! Better than before the world started using Covid as an excuse for everything. Shocked as credits have been turning up on my card within 1- 2 weeks! When I am in a Saks store I have always had pleasant sales staff. I still love Saks and want to give them a plug!
I purchased some of the dresses there, very comfortable indeed, the service was fascinating, I will never regret about the clothes that they handle. They are very modern.

Update: I never did get any sort of e-mail confirmation or any contact after I contacted customer service several times (see details below) but today I surprisingly got a package from Fedex and it was my Valentino dust bag! Wow! I am very happy that my claim was actually taken care of. I brushed it off as a lost cause but Saks came through (very quickly too!) and I will shop with them again. Reading all the 1 star reviews really had me worried but this redemption has changed my mind. My only wish is there was more communication with customers, I never got an email stating the dust bag was mailed or anything, the package just arrived suddenly. I also think I got lucky with customer service (I think Brittany on chat) she was the only one I thought actually may have don't something about my issues since I got a survey afterwards asking me about her service...anyways I hope the service gets better (more like Nordstrom's) and I think these 1 star reviews will be changing.I'm an internati
I have purchased twice from this store and never had a problem, it is not my preferred high end store as the shipping takes a long time to Australia. There are some very negative reviews here and they are entitled to voice their experience, but just saying that I've shopped on-line here and never had any issues. Only gave 4 stars because of the shipping time and they don't have a simple and clearly stated returns policy that you can review before you purchase.
