We recently hired Terminix in Kelowna to spray a wasp nest near our back door. The wasps were just as bad a few days later. They say they are guaranteed but when we called the dispatcher no one came back or even returned our call dispite all the false promises. LAME. Trust the other negative reviews. They never diagnosed my problem. They assumed it was carpenter ants, but it was termites! Also, it was always a finger pointing game. "These are not termites. You need to contact your pest control company." This is not the 1st time this has happened to me by Terminix. Years ago, they didn't claim anything and I had a contract with them! I'm trying to figure out why was I ever paying them if they are not going to do anything about it, but send a few techs here and there just to diagnose the problem wrong in the first place. We contract for one price and the rep did a bait and switch and said we order something we did not. We have a copy of what the price was to be. Then they want to charge over $1000 for a cancellation fee for their lies .
Absolutely horrible customer service! Tried to schedule & the technician never showed up or called. And had to call customer service 3 times to even get a response. It is a joke! Do not waste your time. Will use someone else.
Hopelessly unable to provide the service they promised and charged for. I received the inspection and report, with no description of how and when service would be scheduled. After spending a morning calling the various numbers on the report, a customer support person promised a service call. When the time for the service call came, and no service people arrived, but I received a text from an unknown number asking if I still wanted an inspection, and then saying could they reschedule since their son at soccer camp had been injured and they needed to attend to that, that I called the main number again and was told there was no service call scheduled, or any record of another appointment. When I provided the time and name of the customer service person who had scheduled the service appointment, and let them know I had been texted about another inspection, they finally admitted that there had been a mistake on their end, and that there were no available service people. Will never understand why Terminex suggested scheduling an inspection before another treatment and then allowed their employee to just not show up after waiting 3 1/2 hours for this man to show. Texts me 25 minutes before the end of the Noon time frame to tell me he wasn’t coming. Called Terminex to report this fraudster and they simply didn’t care. There was plenty of time to send another inspector but they refused to do so. They move my 10:00 am to Noon appointment on a Saturday to a start time of 8:00 am. I hate this company. They use fear tactics and they lie. Then when something serious happens, like my wife getting cancer and me losing a job, they do anything and EVERYTHING to try to not get you to cancel. They make you fight for cancellation. They want to throw $40 credit and be like, that is good right? Then they want to charge you $900 for a cancellation fee for their lies and fear tactics.
Terminex was supposed to clean,disinfect,take away old insulation and install new.They did terrible job.There is a vapor barrier over old insulation walls and floorbad,the insulation installed is contaminated would like it all removed.branch Manager Richard Leatherman told me they stand by work and it's not that bad.He did offer to clean and disinfect and put new vapor barrier in.I would like insulation taken down cleaned and disinfected,because it is contaminated and should have been done right first time.If I never said anything they would have left it like that.Thats not good business and Richard Leatherman really does not care.
Had the tech no show to appointments multiple times and be extremely rude to me and my husband. He came out and sprayed only our front door after we'd requested inside and outside service. When the tech finally came back to complete the service after me calling in multiple times, he was belligerent, yelled at me and then did not do any spraying.
Negative stars. The worst. A total scam. They deceive the elderly about the severity of the problem, overcharge them for services they don’t even provide, then refuse to cancel service until their traps are collected, but they won’t come collect them. The absolute worst. I can’t believe they’re allowed to continue to do business.
I regret hiring this company. After paying a lot of money for the exclusion service and the additional yearly service fee, they have not shown up for multiple scheduled (and confirmed) appointments. The guys who do the work are great. The scheduling seems to be the problem.

I received a text offering to add pest control to my termite control package and called them the same day. We had minor issues with roaches and mice. The appointment with the technician was set up within an hour and he showed up on time, as scheduled, on a Saturday afternoon. I told him the problem and showed him around the house and he treated the entire house inside and outside for pests, i.e., roaches, bugs, mice, etc. and was very courteous, professional and thankful. Within a week our roach and mice problem is gone. I would recommend Terminix-Lafayette, Louisiana to anyone in my family or any one of my friends.

Well not only did the terminix employee came early but I had some concerns about the chemicals your company uses because of my pets. The man helped me with the answers and put my concerns to rest. Zero stars!!! They are completely unprofessional. I had a buyer wood destroying pest inspection scheduled. I confirmed twice that they were coming. The inspector was a no call no show. When I called each time nobody knew how to identify my confirmed appointment until I repeated myself over and over again. They schedule appointments with no confirmation number, e-mail, text, nothing. They say, “it’s in our system.” Well under what because I just spent 20 minutes verifying who I was each time I called. I am surprised that the company is still in business. I sent an e-mail to a so called supervisor 3 days ago to complain in writing..no response. Crazy!
I cancelled our Terminix contract in August last year as Nantucket representative Bob failed to show up for the appointment. Bob kept coming without our consent and billing us for it even though I had cancelled the contract. I refused to pay the bills and have been harassed for a year about it. The harassment continues. I have called Terminix 8 times to resolve this situation to no avail. I have now written to them. I am fed up!!
We are selling a home and have had a contract with Terminix for 43 years. We have spoken with 14 different reps in the last 2 weeks trying to get a copy of our contract which the buyer wants. Tomorrow is the closing and we have been on the phone for at least 3 hours today. Each rep tells us they will "escalate" our situation to some higher authority. When I call to speak with the branch manager, the number Terminix gave me is disconnected.
My comparison is between Forsyth exterminating, Arrow and Terminix previously Allgood brand. Did you know that Terminix offer services that Arrow and Forsyth Exterminating don't? Justin from Terminix arrived 8 a.m. He is considerate of your time. Justin Killion addressed my needs, went over the property, took measurements, ask questions and went over service and pricing etc.. Having bug problems since home purchase i was already savy on rat control, scorpions, spiders, wood bees, carpenter aunts, black snakes, racoon, rats, moles, mice and the list goes on. I could charge people to tour a bug exhibit at my home. I needed a good service that offered just a little more value. A few minutes with Justin and i said sign me up! How refreshing to have someone who really wants to earn your business without being pompous. Justin is a down to earth guy who can has alot of potential in this business. I got a great deal with more detailed services from Terminix. Ask for Justin Killiam.
