Costco Opticians

Price was good, but let down by customer service.

A fault developed in the frames, they agreed to repair them, unfortunately they damaged the frame while repairing them.

They replaced the frames for a new set, this part took 3 weeks only finding out they were finished when I called them.

When I collected the glasses I was told my lenses don't fit perfectly in the frames, but I bought the complete glasses from them if the lenses wouldn't fit perfectly in the frames why wasn't I told this when I ordered them.

All in it took about 6 weeks, to repair then replace them. I don't imagine I'd use them again.

Nice people but PLEASE - If the staff are wearing face masks ask them to wear them properly or not at all. The people on the door only covered their mouths in the Derby store on Friday.

Excellent

Ordered, delivered, 1 item needed to be sent again as it wasn’t dispatched the first time despite a UPS consignment having been created.

I needed to return one online item, no problems to take back to physical store and prompt refund paid back to card.

The terms and conditions seem to have changed recently (or I’ve only just noticed) that only physical store members (as distinct from online only members) can return online purchases in store.

I love Costco - so why 3 star...?

I love Costco - in store its great and the customer service for returns is excellent - no problems or questions just take it back. Good guarantees with things like electricals etc. We buy all sorts from here and Costco does a good trade from us especially at Christmas. However...
During lockdown have had several deliveries of food and goods. Now this has usually been great, however have ordered 2 large items - some shelving units and a large outdoor patio table - both have arrived damaged. The boxes were a mess and you could see the damage without even opening them, why they were delivered is beyond me! This would be something to sort out as it has made me think twice about ordering online, and it would be nice to offered something in compensation after it has happened twice in as many months. However I have to say customer service has been good picking them up for returns. Also a little tip for buying in bulk - check your prices as some things arent cheaper than the supermarket!!

Wow great fast delivery

Wow i ordered a palram patio cover from a differant company 6 weeks ago. But they kept me waiting and were terrible . So i cancelled order and ordered one from costco. Well 3 days later it was here. Well impressed.. i cant comment on the cover its self yet as it came so fast i need to find someone to put up.. so will follow up with that. But so far great costco well done .

I was a little concerned having read some of the online reviews whether I'll be getting my washer dryer today, especially that last night the order still had "processing" status.

Got an email early morning from the delivery company and the machine was delivered on time and I could track live movements on the link in the email too.
Been shopping in Costco for years, never could fault the warehouses, luckily now can also give them glowing review for their online shop. Not to mention the great value (saved just over £100 compared to AO)

Got my tyre fitted today and very pleased with the service that Elliot and his team at the tyre centre working tirelessly even its already been a very busy long day fitting tyres and also the gentleman who helped me book it on that day because of my tight schedule. Costco member since 1998 and I have a choice of warehouses but always get my tyres from Costco and this time at Haydock, (which is my favourite) I had 4 Michelin Cross climate 17 ins tyres fitted to brand new loose 17 ins wheels I had provided. I then wanted them swapped with my 19 ins wheels on the car. You always get an excellent job with Costo Haydock, they clean the studs, I am pretty sure they do not use impact wrenches which can mark painted wheels and nuts, They get the tyre pressure right and torque the wheels down to the right NM. I have never had a poorly balanced wheel at Costco and returning home on the M6, the steering wheel was rock solid. PB and PT did the job and they put the old wheels and tyres in my car carefully and they also disposed of the factory cardboard boxes and polystyrene my new wheels had been packed in. Faultless service

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service, bar none! Bought a kuka bailey corner recliner sofa last year February 2019, and this year the power recliner failed and a few other quality issues, called Costco customer services, they arranged collection and refund all within 5 working days. I placed order for a new leather suite on the Friday delivered the following Monday! If that isn't great customer service I don't know what is!
I've never had a problem with any Costco returns, they are the best!

There jacket potato and baked beens have been £1.50 since 2002 when I started having them since my uni days . There pizza freshly baked is big and delicious and filling
